What is love It’s the knowledge of each other, not of the flesh but through the flesh, knowledge of self, the real him, the real her, in extremis. It’s to do with knowing and being known, embracing the imperfect, flaws and faults, idiosyncrasies and bodily history with mercy and tenderness. The mutual recognition of each other, thus extending the love to a social level. It’s the story of a father and daughter who have to leave their home to deal with their traumatic past and present. And along the way, they also dream of finding acceptance.
