Rajiv Mathur Shahid Kapoor is mocked by his friends for not having a girlfriend. When they plan a couplesonly trip to Alibagh, Rajiv decides to propose to Payal Amrita Rao, his childhood friend, so he can be included in the trip. Payal, thinking he genuinely loves her, accepts the proposal but is disappointed when she learns the truth. Heartbroken, she breaks up with him. Rajiv then meets a freespirited model Alisha Sahay Shenaz Treasury and falls in love. But soon he realizes love doesn’t come so easily and sometimes, to find ‘the one’, you have to let them go, first.
