Hidimbi Devi Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located inManāli, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himālayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553.

Acccording to legend after Goddess Sati sacrificed herself in the honor of Lord Shiva in her father Yagya. Lord Shiva took the Sati body on his shoulder and stated Tandav. Lord Vishnu is divided goddess Sati body into 51 parts with his chakra in order to stop the Lord Shiva destroying the word. The left breast of Sati fell at this place.

Shri Bhima Kali Temple is a temple at Sarahan inHimachal Pradesh inIndia, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali. The temple is situated about 180 km from Shimla and is one of 51 Shakti Peethass. According to a legend, the manifestation of the goddess is reported to the DakshaYajna incident when the ear of the Sati fell at this place and became a place of worship as a Pitha Sthan.
